seriously pica is still young
Every 27th of January is Akram a.k.a Pica's birth anniversary. So lately he was very sad since he will be a year older soon.
To cheer him up, his girlfriend/teman tapi mesra* Maizura, with some help from Joker, Madi and yours truly, organised a small suprise birthday party for him last weekend

bolehland football is sick
Asian Cup Qualifying Round, Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium, Cheras:
MALAYSIA 0 UAE 5
...and the newspapers here had a field day
To label Malaysian Football as a classic example of sports and politix horrific mix up is an understatement.MALAYSIA 0 UAE 5
...and the newspapers here had a field day
Been hearing about the radical changes on football structure, state FAs, clubs and grassroot development since the last 10-15 years or so but still nothing comes of it.
Dear Sultan and high powered people up there,
Although I am not so optimistic,I have one wish: to see Malaysian football team qualify for the World Cup at least once before I drop dead

"nizam has left the building"
After almost two years working stint in Doha Qatar and Dubai UAE and getting sick of all the money, my good friend Encik Nizam has left the Middle East for good.
So last weekend we are forced to threat him for some makan2, sang 'bertemu dan berpisah' and threw some last hi-fivers.
Until we meet again in the old country..and hopefully you do not forget us when you get famous

Kaka to Manchester City? FOOTBALL IS DEAD
Following one of the most astonishing turnarounds in transfer history,
Kaka's move to Manchester City has fallen through when Milan President and Italy Prime Minister Silvio Belusconi call off the deal at the last minute

Kaka: my heart is with Milan
City blast Milan behaviour
Milan won 17 Scudetti, 7 Champions League titles, 3 Intercontinental Cups, 2 European Cup Winners Cup, 1 FIFA Club World Cup, 5 European Supercup, 5 Coppa Italia
Manchester City won 2 English league titles (1937&1968), and 1 European Cup Winners Cup (1970)
Milan currently 3rd in Serie A, with a realistic chance of fighting for the Scudetto
Manchester City are in 11th place in the Premier League, 7 points above the relegation zone
Milan is one of the most revered cities in Europe,a capital of design and fashion, culture, art, nightlife
Manchester boasts less of a cultural note, and hardly catches the eye like Milan,
or even London, does.
So how could it be possible then that one of the world’s greatest
footballers could move from Milan to Manchester City?
The simple answer is: MON£Y
THE DAY THE TRANSFER OF KAKA TO MANCHESTER CITY GOES THROUGH WILL BE MARKED D0WN IN HISTORY AS THE DAY FOOTBALL DIED

AC MILAN training camp, Dubai 2009
AC Milan Training camp, Dubai 2009 >

Earlier this month AC Milan arrives in Dubai from Italy for their winter training camp sponsored by Emirates-Airlines.
The camp, which was part of the second half preparation of the 2008-2009 European season generated a lot of public and media attention...mainly because of a small time footballer by the name of David Beckham who just recently moved to the club, joining the likes of Kaka, Ronaldinho and Maldini.
A week long training was held daily at Al-Nasr Sports Club, and as a huge Rossoneri tifosi it is only right for me to checkout them out. My good friend Jamel was there too.
after 2 hours of training/match practice the mob of fan waited patiently for players to come out for some autograph signing.
i manage to get paolo's...ronaldinho was very accommodating too, and he got the loudest cheer from the crowd. Becks? damn...he wanted to smooch my face...its a narrow escape though

Part of the training agenda was a friendly match against German Bundesliga side, Hamburg SV dubbed 'Dubai Football Challenge' , which was held at the Emirates' The Sevens Stadium on January 6.
Went to enjoy the game along with Joker, Sufian, Kamil and Munyra. But damn...we were caught in a massive traffic jam leading up to the stadium and arrived there quite late...the match has gone almost halfway thru
the game ended 1-1 after 90 minutes, and Milan prevailed 4-3 on penalties (matchnews here)
There was a funny scene after the match though, as Joker's car was stucked in the sand...fortunately a policeman manage to bail us out
...I had to be a part-time police traffic while the vehicle was towed...haha

flashback at the Al-Nasr Club training ground a few days earlier:
It's not everyday that you could get a photo together with Joker...apparently some football stars wouldn't miss this golden chance
note- a slice of Joker's charm: a few days after this pic was snapped, Pato scored two goals in Milan 2-2 draw with AS Roma in an Italian Serie A match at Stadio Olympico, Rome (highlight here)
